• Bring the elements of nature into feng shui spaces with mirrors, music and chimes, water and house plants. Leave windows exposed or covered lightly, allowing natural light into the space. Use natural woods, such as bamboo, and avoid an abundance of hard or man-made materials such as metal, plastic and glass. Wooden furniture in gentle shapes is ideal for the feng shui environment. Hide hints of the influence of humans, such as technology, so it cannot be seen when not in use.

Placement

• The placement of large objects are of importance in feng shui spaces. Because large objects can affect or block the flow of energy in the space, they should be positioned to allow for the most openness.
